The Tuacahn outdoor amphitheater has been home to countless productions ranging from classic musicals to hard rock concerts. This weekend, Willie Nelson will grace St. George with his timeless talent that has earned him a place as one of the America”s most recognizable talents. Even for those who are not avid fans, Willie Nelson’s iconic western dress style and country sound will be immediately appreciated. Born during the Great Depression, Willie Nelson has a strong sense of his American roots that is readily sensed in his music. He recorded his first album in 1962 and has been performing and producing ever since. Willie Nelson is also dedicated to many activist causes including the Texas Music Project aimed at expanding music programs for Texan school children.
