We Want Your Feedback!

What a year 2014 has been! Here, on our blog, we have loved sharing our recommendations with you, hoping to assist in making your vacation to St George and the surrounding area memorable. To start the new year off right, we wanted to highlight a few of our favorite posts from last year. If you missed them the first time, here is your chance. If you read them, let’s reminisce.

Tuacahn Theatre

Tuacahn saw a lot of action in 2014. With hit musicals such as The Wizard of Oz, The Little Mermaid, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat families from all around the country (and world!) enjoyed timeless tales and broadway-standard talent. The amphitheater was rocked with concerts by Willie Nelson, Three Dog Night, and the Beach Boys along with a fabulous tribute to one of my favorite bands of all time, Journey. And don’t forget the Professional Bull Riders! They were such a hit, Tuacahn has scheduled them again for this year. We also let you in on a few hidden gems at Tuacahn, including the backstage tour and Christmas celebration.

We explored Zion National Park provided suggestions for beginner, intermediate, and advanced hikers. The blog also gave resources for families visiting Zion’s including family-friendly walks, safety tips, and information about the Human History Center. Still needing an excuse to fully appreciate Zion’s? Consider the annual pass that gives you and your carload year-long access to Zion’s and dozens of other federal recreation sites.

Personally, my favorite topic from this past year was food. St. George has so much to offer! From sushi to burgers to pizza – you’re sure to find something to please the entire family. Because brunch is the most important (at least most enjoyed) meal of the day, we highlighted a few of our favorites. Even if you are not keen on eating out, we posted ways to create the perfect burger or plan the perfect BBQ. I could go on and on.

What a year! Ultimately, we want this blog to be a resource for Family Reunion planning. Which means we want your suggestions! If there are topics you’d like to see further explored here on the blog, please let us know! Email me at weston@privatevacations.com and I’ll make sure to discuss each suggestion at length.

In closing, I’ll leave you with a link to my favorite post of the year: Road Trip Games. This post is my favorite not because it’s jam-packed with links or inundated with information, but because it provides you, our reader, with a few tools that will help you do what we’ve been hoping you’d do all along – come visit us. Hope to see you soon!
