Eight out of nine holes on the front nine feature water as scenic challenges to par. The back nine holes traverse Tonaquint Mountain and provide awe-inspiring views of the St. George area; it adds the element of risk/reward.

3. Sand Hollow Golf Course

Sand Hollow Golf Club is known for its jaw-dropping, memorable golf holes playing among towering red rock cliffs and through the coral pink Sand Dunes of Sand Hollow State Park. This golf course offers well-manicured, fast, and firm playing conditions and is the favorite of many visitors and locals alike.
Players enjoy views of the stunning white and red cliffs of Zion National Park in the distance, Pine Valley Mountain to the west, and the nearby Red Cliffs State Park as backdrops to the golf. The Sand Hollow golf course has been ranked the #1 on the Best Courses You Can Play in Utah and also has been on the Top 200 Modern courses list for the last couple of years. If you’re an amateur golfer you can participate in the Anual Sand Hollow Resort Amateur Golf Tournament. Take into consideration, that there is a dress code for men and women. Also, cancellations must be done 48 hours before.

4. Copper Rock Golf Course
Copper Rock Golf Course has just opened in late February! St George’s newest course is just 20 minutes from Coral Springs Resort. Located near Hurricane, Utah, and close to Sand Hollow Reservoir, Copper Rock is an excellent addition to the multiple high-quality golf courses in and around St. George, Utah.
Designed by golf architect Dale Beddo, the front nine offers a mix of fun risk-reward short pars 4’s, a stout, snake-like par five with a 75-yard long green, and some great pars 3’s! Sparkling white sand bunkers frame the layout with the surrounding contrasting native grasses and brush. Fast greens put a premium on putting, and the greens are a “Putters Paradise” for true quick rolls.

5. Bloomington Country Club Golf Course
Bloomington Country Club golf course was built in 1969 and was the first private club in St. George, Utah. For over 40 years this club has been a favorite in the area with its classic design, and wide-open, playable feel.
It’s great in the Winter months with dormant rough and overseeded rye fairways, and you can easily walk this golf course. Tees and greens are close to each other, and the terrain is only gently varied in elevation.
Sometimes it’s a nice change of pace from the big demanding modern layouts, to just being able to swing away, play quickly and enjoy hitting good golf shots in an 18-home championship golf course like this. Enjoy the peaceful, challenging game all golfers crave.
